They tend to grow bushy with multiple trunks. They like heat, sun, and water and will benefit from getting an early start in areas with shorter growing seasons.  Plan on around 100-120 days to first fruit from seeding, though this will vary depending on heat units.  Starting seeds with sufficient heat will result in better germination and establishment - they don't like the cold! \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe peppers start a light green, turn a pale yellow-orange, and then ripen to a beautiful golden orange and will hold on the plant for weeks. They are hot (100,000+ SHUs) and have a nice fruity flavor. The peppers are mostly 2-2.5\" long and .5\" wide.
